Almost any card design you like can be converted into an invitation. If you are making more than 50, it's usually good to create a flat card design for ease of assembly. You can still embellish a lot without the folded front and your guests will be impressed with the results. Unless you are doing 20 invitations or less, I suggest computer printed information on your cards. You can print now on vellum, you can raise the ink with embossing powders, and you can use fun fonts with inked accents to add nice touches. Have a great party and don't forgot to invite me!
