Candy Bar Cover with Tag

Tag Candy Wrapper

Supplies:

a.5.25" by 6.5" piece of print paper, I used a gingham check

b.small scrap of tan cardstock

c.Avery Tag, 2.5" by 4.75"

d.Sunflower Thank You Stamp set by Dream Impressions (112-4452)

e.Dry chalks by Craft-T

f.Silver eyelet

g.Twine

h.ColorBox chalk ink pad in light brown, black and grey dye ink pad

i.Candy bar

Use layers of yellows and tans (chalks) to make tag background. Stamp sunflower, leaves, and thank you sentiment in black. Stamp swirls in gray ink around words and lower left corner. Use chalks to color sunflower and leaves. (Scan shows petals pink when they are more orange in real life.Seal chalks by burnishing or with fixative spray. Dip edges of tag in tan chalk-finish ink. Attach torn tan scrap with silver eyelet. Tie twine bow through eyelet. Tape print paper around candy bar as wrapper. Adhere tag on top of wrapper.

Ideas for candy wrappers:

·Buy the bags of miniature bars and use tiny tags for the same effect

·Use as party favors, inside gift baskets, crop favors, small birthday remembrances

·Incorporate a bow around the middle of the tag design for the look of a small gift

· Buy the big boxes of  candy bars at the warehouse stores and go to town! (please send me onegrin)
