I love a good card making session where I can put multiples together that don't all look alike but look like they were fun and created with the moment in mind. I created this set of seemingly unrelated cards in 1 hour sessions over a period of about 4 days.  See below for more about the process and techniques involved.

Getting to Know New Stamps

It's important for me to get acquanted with my new stamps soon after they come to live with me. I need to see the way they take the ink and what colors and styles work best with them.

In early May 2010 I attended a crop in Vero Beach where i purchased some stamps and I bought a couple new ones on sale at a local craft store for the trip too. These cards are from our ice breaker session a few days after purchase.

Make Something of it tip

Don't just play with new stamps on scrap paper to see what they look like--stamp onto tags and when you have combinations you like you are just a few background papers and embellishments away from some new cards.
