I HAD to do an Elvis purse. He's also going to be on  my next one which is a Vegas purse. This started as a paper covered box and I coated it with Gesso before painting and collaging.
This purse was entirely covered with collage papers and stamps. Most class participants prefer to leave the cigar advertisements visible on one side-but the choice is yours in this fun class!
The cigar ad on front features Romeo and Juliet, so the opposite side of this purse glitters with a heart. A painted paper lining and mirror finish off the interior.
When Daisy, our amazing dog, heard we were auditioning models for the cigarbox purse, she eagerly agreed to pose. Although the other candidate (visible at left) had a better wardrobe, Daisy won the contract paws down. Daisy, Creative Wonderland's Modeling Diva Dog, is available for personal appearances, autographs, and games of fetch upon request.
