Books are the magical portal to every destination. I'll try to feature two special ones and then list others that I know you'll love. Vist the main book page to see other categories of books.
1. The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron will always be among my most treasured books. I have been doing morning pages since 1997 and they have been a major contributor to my healing and my artistic career.
I never understood how living creatively, no matter what your vocation or occupation, could really impact your entire well-being. The Artist's way makes it all clear for you. It's even an excellent resource for people with self-destructive and/or addictive behaviors.
It's one of those books that literally (no pun intended) changed my life.
The Soul's Palette by Cathy A.. Malchiodi I just finished this book and I want to design about three workshops based on different aspects. This is a great book if you are interested in healing and art. She does a wonderful job explaining and inspiring the reader to understand symbols, Mandalas, breathing, and meditation as a part of art and healing.
There's More! The books below are all on my shelf, nightstand, suitcase or desk. I open them, re-read them, and give them as gifts on a regular basis. Most of these were reccomended to me by creative friends.
