The Collage Artist, She who dances with scissors :)
Creative Classes & Workshops
Collage Stamp Cards-Features the techniques outlined in my Suite 101 article on quick collage cards. We combined inked background with contemporary collage stamps and embellishments for great cards. Most participants finish 4+ cards during the session.

Buckle Cards-This technique came from another web site (which I credit and link) but it really does well in a class format for those "visual" learners. These cards can be coordinated to specific manufacturers and seasons.

Die Cut Strippers-Create eight cards in one session by using these fun techniques. This is a great program for card clubs and new product clubs since it features print papers. I give the full instructions on my web site, but it's always more fun to create among friends.

With This Stamp-Ever feel like you're doing the same things over and over with your stamps? Learn new perspectives in stamping as we explore a dozen different ways to use the same image for dazzling results. This class takes you beyond "stamp one, color two," into a treasure trove of opportunities to create multiple projects using the same stamp.  We'll explore clay, cardstock, tags, embossing, mica-powders, beads, wire, and more  as we work with the stamp chosen by host location. (Stamp choice changes with every session, course can also be adapted to die cuts)

Waterfall card- Paper Engineering at it's finest. I love the way you pull one end of this card and images just cascade before you. This is a great gift card for men--they love the interaction. Theme can vary by host choice and features die cuts or rubber stamps.

Color Blocking with Ink-Fun and funky, this technnique builds a card front collage with inks and stamps. The bold colors and images really make these a great workshop.

Tag booklet-The Rollerbind lives with this fun and easy card booklet for special occaisions. Handouts include different poem selections to customize your book and workshop can be customized to match any theme or season.

Watercolor Stamping- Use watercolors to create images that appear painted with your stamps. We'll finish 3 cards and have some additional images when we're done.

Patriotic Expressions-This class makes one card with a patriotic pin accent and one card using a vintage photo tag. These are great to share with friends or Norma Anne will coordinated sending them to our soldiers stationed overseas.

Holly Daze card making-The premise of this class is making large mulitples of cards (over 20) without going crazy. Participants will work in stations and as a team to assemble 5-8 slightly different holiday cards that they can recreate quickly and easily at home. There will be at least three styles to choose from and a Hunakah or Kiwanza design can be available on request.

Better with Chocolate-You cannot go wrong with chocolate. This class is always fun and delicious. Use beautiful papers from K & Company, Bazzill, and other fine manufacturers along with stamps and embellishments to make these tasteful and tasty designs.

Polished Paper Backgrounds-Polish off a bountiful array of greeting cards using this fun and amazing technique of ink blending. Course features Tim Holtz alcohol inks, fabulous collage style stamps, and wonderful layers of cardstock to make fun and easy cards. Most participants leave with 3 completed cards and many more "almost there" peices.

Card Sharks-Playing cards make great embellishments for greeting cards. We'll use both sides of the deck in a mulitple of sizes to create 4 fun and fabulous cards.

Powdered Pigment effects-Swish, swipe, dust, glue, and enjoy all the different ways you can use pigment powders on cards. We'll do some bleaching, transparencies, and heated accent areas all featuring pigment powders. (Sample link shows only the transparency).

Whirlwind Cards-Card making should be fun and easy and give one a gratifying sense of accomplishment. This is why whirlwind cards were invented. There are 4 versions of this program for each season of the year. The samples are from spring, but they are by no means the limit. Learn to relax, enjoy, use some simple layout guides, great papers, and easy embellishments to create 5 fabulous cards.

Photo Greetings-Cards with a photo are wonderful ways for remembering family and friends accoss the miles and around the block. We'll make two cards from your photos that will be happily displayed for months by the receipeint.

Clip Dancer Book Mark-Use the Giant paper clips from Bazzill to create these clever book marks that dance as they keep your spot. There are lots of cool techniques in this program like paper polishing, creating pockets, working with jump rings and more.

Cards from the Artful Greeting Gallery-Customize your own program by browsing the galleries of cards to pick your favorites.
