Legacy Art is my preferred term for scrapbooking. I think we do ourselves a disservice if we don't call it an art form. Years from now, your scrapbook pages and mine will be displayed in art museums, insured with extra riders on the policy in homes, and appreciated for the art and emotion that they represent. I chose to honor them now as they deserve.

Famous Last Words
When it's time for a basic layout, reach for basic paper--Basic Grey, that is. I love the "instant art" feel of this paper. I used a sketch for the general outline, journaled "hip style" and stamped an easy title. The circles are, of course, from my Spellbinders' collection. July 2007.

Again, a great paper company got me started, this time is was Rouge LaGrange. Then there were these great photos Sir Henry took because I was away and missing my "neighbor family." The sketch is from Creating Keepsakes, but I altered it a bit. The swirls are traced and cut from the doodle tool that came in the Pine Cone Press Kit--"Pens & Needles." The framed tag is a Spellbinder's die cut.
