The Artist--Legacy Art Gallery
Legacy Art is my preferred term for scrapbooking. I think we do ourselves a disservice if we don't call it an art form. Years from now, your scrapbook pages and mine will be displayed in art museums, insured with extra riders on the policy in homes, and appreciated for the art and emotion that they represent. I chose to honor them now as they deserve.

Mini Book for Mother's Day- This album was so easy and so fun. I waited until the last minute to make it and still had enough time to mail for arrival by Mother's Day..

Mini Album Tips & Tricks

1. Buy a 4" by 6" photo album (acid free) that is made entirely of plastic sleeves (this one was 50 Cents on clearance at Target). Use this as your base.

2.Size and crop all digital photos before printing to 3.5" wide or less.

3. Buy a 6" square tablet of coordinating print papers. (7-Gypsies used here).

4. Choose 2-3 colors of coordinating cardstock (even a print cardstock is great) for accents.

5. Cut some die cuts using Spellbinders Wizard (Variety tags, mystery dies, hardware hinges, hearts of love shown here).

6. Assemble two pages at a time just as you would do a larger layout.

7. If the book is for your mother, be sure and hand write messages on each page--she loves that.

This book turned out to be 28 pages-14 spreads plus cover and back cover. I used punches, vellum, and fiber scraps to add interest. I also inked edges and die cuts for a fast finished look.
