Spellbinders sells a great digital art CD and a line of coordinating die cuts. I'm grateful for the opportunity to play with this since I might not have tried it otherwise. I did and taught digital scrapping in the '90's and didn't think I would want to go back. I love the way this program meshes the traditional into the digital.

We Found Our Key

I really had some fun with this one. I started with a color digital photo, converted to black and white and then used pieces from every collection on the Fusion CD. If you click to enlarge you'll see I made the photo into a sketch and left plenty of room for hand made touches and layering. This layout doesn't actually use any of the dies from the Fusion collection, but I liked how the regular line of dies had so many compatible images too.

Don't Leave Home Without a Tiara-and other neighborly advice
I loved this project! I never got much comment from anyone else even though it was displayed at CHA '07 in California. Good thing I like my own work some days--smile.

It's a 6 page book using the girl and flower Fusion sets. The full album is best viewed on my Photo Site and this link will open in a separate window.

The 5" square pages are matted on 6" square vellum and housed in a 6" album by K and Company.

The best part about Fusion for me is that I can create mini books like this and then print them out over and over. I only have to add the three dimensional die cuts or other embellishments and it is finished. I immediately made one of these in a 3" square format to give to the kids in the photos.
So Transparent

I used Spellbinders' Fusion digital scrapping kit to make this transparent overlay applied to Rouge LaGrange papers. The die cuts were edged in white which is a different look for me and I liked it. The layout as a whole, was not really one of my favorites when it was all said and done. But, hey, it's here and I made it....
