The Artist--Legacy Art Gallery
Legacy Art is my preferred term for scrapbooking. I think we do ourselves a disservice if we don't call it an art form. Years from now, your scrapbook pages and mine will be displayed in art museums, insured with extra riders on the policy in homes, and appreciated for the art and emotion that they represent. I chose to honor them now as they deserve.

Delicious Dynasty Mini Book The base of this album is a library pocket book kit from my friends at Pine Cone Press. The papers are older, but so appropriate because they are filled with images of chocolate. The photos were taken by brother at his family Easter celebration. .

Mini Album Tips & Tricks

1. Use a pre-made base such as the library pocket book from Pine Cone Press .

2.Size and crop all digital photos before printing to 3" wide or less.

3. Choose a color scheme (pink and brown in this case) and collect print papers and card stock to coordinate. Mini books are great because you can use scraps.

4.  Use pink and brown inks (or your chosen colors) to ink a background on each library pocket.

5. Cover the book boards with print paper. Wrap like you would a gift and then cut an insert piece to cover raw edges from card stock.

6. Accordian fold a spine and follow instructions to put book together.

7. Decorate two pages at a time just as you would do a larger layout. Outline photos with paint pens instead of matting with paper.

8. Apply photos on pockets and on cards to be pulled out. Leave room for recipient to journal too.

9. Wizard Dies-mystery dies, symbology, Tags 5, Variety Tags, Geometric tags, buckle hardware
