Stow-Away Book-The biggest dilemma with this darling little book is deciding how many to make. The accordion-fold book has six pages and 4 pockets for tags all of which are decorated with stickers, stamps, die cuts, inks, fibers, gems, clips and eyelets. Wonderful Wizard of Ah- Create a two page layout as you learn all the wonders of the Wizard die cutting and embossing tool. She Who Is….-Create a mini-album out of coffee filters that will be a great tribute to the wonderful women in your life. We’ll use great papers by Fancy Pants™ in a pink and brown color palette to create this 10 page pocket album full of great embellishments and plenty of feeling. Directions to My Heart- Whether you have a “Book of Me” or you want to add deeper meaning pages to your regular books this layout is the place to go. We begin with some “journal jotting” and then create the elements for your page that give the unique directions (including road signs) to your heart. The style is very edgy and the technique incorporates Free Style Scrapping as seen in the new book by Autumn Leaves. Please bring: 12” cutter, scissors, black/brown marker, adhesive.

All Torn Up Paper Piecing: Tear up the fabulous Worldwin Doublemates™ paper along with other patterns and textures to create fun shapes and accents for your pages. We’ll use inks and chalks to outline, shade and highlight for stunning designs all without scissors. Learn about how the grain of the paper affects your tearing, short cuts to getting cool edges, and more as we tear into this fun class. Note: there are 4 sets of projects for this program depending upon the season. Please bring 12” cutter, fine tip black pen, glue stick, chalks and applicator to workshop. All new for Summer 2006!

Fab Flowers- See fabulous page designs bloom before your very eyes. We’ll use flowers with collage and paper-piecing techniques to create a flower and bead embellished frame, two floral accented tags, and petal perfect title on this inspired layout. Sunshine on a String-Carry a little bit of sunshine with you every day when you wear this teeny little scrapbook filled with photos that radiate love. Use small embellishments and a long sparkling cord to compliment this book with a ribbon closure securing 8 pages of photos. Where else can you get this feeling of accomplishment from 1.5 hours of work? You'll go home with bragging rights on a finished album! Framed Pages--Can I Quote you? --These endearing portrait collages are great for framing or as the first page in a scrapbook. They get rave reviews as a gift too. We'll use the Wizard die cutting and embossing system to make letters, shapes, apply rub-ons, and texturize paper as we create these lasting treasures. Dolls For Art’s Sake- Create fascinating futuristic figures or delicate fairy shapes as we explore the use of art dolls on your scrapbook page. Join the "Flat Fran" craze and create a one dimensional version of yourself to send out on fantasy vacations. It's all fun and it's all creative as we explore the use of papers, stamps, brads, beads, wire, metal, fiber, and more in this fast paced workshop.
