Asian Soap Box
For Christmas my friend Jill gave me a delightful pink jewelry set arranged in this pretty box. I love wearing the jewelry, but I couldn't manage to toss the box, so I altered it. The inspiration came from a set of smelly soaps wrapped in Asian print paper from the dollar store. I lined the box with more stamped paper I made, stamped with Spellbinder's stamps, added die cuts like the Asian coin, butterfly (matches the stamp), and variety tags. The coin on the lid is encased in Ranger memory glass (frosted) and sealed with foil tape. I wish this was a scratch and sniff web site--the soap is fragrant and appealing.
