Heart Smile
I was scrap stack card making again and making an effort to use tools I hadn't touched in a while. The pear was stamped on transparency and then colored with chalks. The background on green was done with a rollagraph stamp in checkerboard. I never thought transparency art could look so country and so "not me" but here it is! If I wasn't sure before I added the twine, I was sure afterwards. I like it though, the warmer colors, the folk art hearts all pull together.
The inside greeting could get really corny and say "we make a great pair" or "Congratulations to a great pair." It's blank for now.
Live Once Paper Domino
Incorporate a paper domino onto your cards for added dimension and flair. You could make it a pin back so it can be removed from the card and worn by the recipient too.
The stripe on here is copper tape. The metal looks cool on there.
