Since September 2008 I've experienced a wonderful resurgence of art....The previous spring and summer I created a ton of stuff, but it was all related to preparing for our wedding. Now I can sit back and play with the photos from our glorious day and make fun cards with the leftovers. What a fortunate woman I am...
Nassau Pirate
I brought back a ton of ephemera from our cruise and I want to incorporate it into my pages. This spread shows a map from the ship that I crumpled and distressed along with an excursion ticket envelope and the bracelet we had to wear to get in the museum. Papers from DCV.
nassau music
The first spread I created after the wedding using photos from our fabulous free cruise honeymoon. I worked with a sketch to get me "back in the game" and it came together nicely. The ribbon on these pages is from a set I bought on ebay and used for wedding decor. The paper flower is from Oriental Trading.
Tour
Using sketches as a guide again, I had fun making this layout with plenty of room for handwritten journaling. Notes are so important, and coming from your own hand is the best way personalize your work. Think about how much you cherish handwritten notes from loved ones.....
Sweet & Savory
The dining experiences on the ship were so fun for us.
These two pages are all about the food. My friend Lynn made the die cut titles from her Klic' 'n Kut.
Sunset
This is my favorite honeymoon layout so far. I had gotten back in the groove and it came together so effortlessly. It might help that this was one of our favorite adventures on the honeymoon too--grin.
Live Today-Parasail
Hybrid layout of our parasailing trip. I have wanted to try this for so long and it was even more fun than I antcipated. We had some great photos so I had to feature them in a hybrid format.
