Qualifications

 Norma Anne Chattin, A.K.A. The Artful Tourist, lives as an artist, teacher and writer in South Florida.  Teaching since 1986, she has over 100 different classes and workshops available for participants at all levels. Her trademark "Artful Exploration" weekends include workshops, classes, demonstrations, and open studio sessions in an action-packed 72 hours.

 

Her artwork has been published in national magazines, featured in art galleries, and as advertising samples for major companies. As a designer with Spellbinders Paper Arts, LLC for the last two years she has had numerous items published as class samples, advertising, and regular magazine publication.  

 

Her programs are offered only on a limited basis in stores, galleries, and at artist retreats all over the East Coast. While working with a vast array of materials and mediums her current focus includes collage, scrapbooking, rubber stamp art and journals.  Reoccurring themes in Norma Anne's art and workshops include art for everyday people, personal growth, healing, and discovery through the creative process.

 

In addition to her creative arts career, Norma Anne has over 17 years of success in training, marketing, management, writing, and recruiting.

She is a certified career counselor who is equally comfortable in front of one or an audience of 500. Her professional experience in staffing has given her a firm foundation in the business world and she translates these contacts and experiences in her seminars and workshops.

Writing experience includes authoring, editing, and contributing to training manuals, newsletters for varied organizations, brochures, flyers, resumes, business letters, self-help and motivational literature, spiritual meditations, sermons, news and feature articles, press releases, and she currently writes a non-fiction book.
